I started out as an apprentice, learning the trade properly from the ground up: how to prepare a surface, how different paints behave, and why the jobs you can’t see matter as much as the finish.
Since then I’ve worked on everything from family homes and period properties to offices and heritage pieces. That includes a carved Victorian front door, a Georgian townhouse render, a period boardroom in Cole & Son wallpaper, a dark mahogany staircase transformed in white, and even a 1930s K6 telephone box.
Over the years I’ve seen what happens when preparation is rushed: paint that flakes within a year, cracks that come straight back, and sash windows painted shut. It’s why every job I take on starts with the surface underneath, and why my quotes spell out exactly what’s included.

I take real pride in my work and in delivering a quality job every time. When you book me, you can expect honesty from the first visit to the final walkthrough, and a clean, tidy home at the end of every day.
